So I just got sidetracked by the AudioJungle player wordpress plugin. I wanted to embed it in posts but I have to put a sidebar in to fit my theme. Guess it’s time to get out that smashing wordpress book and get to it. I think I’d rather play my guitar. I downed a client’s site today I’m sorry to say, and I put it back up. I didn’t realize it was running across my test bed and the real domain. When I flushed the testbed the whole blog went down with it. I had a sinking feeling in my gut. I put it back from backups, but I learned a valuable lesson. Always check what’s talking to what before you turn something off in a permanent way. When you flush a wordpress install it takes the database with it in one fell swoop and there’s no digging it out of the trash.
